Cold Steel Gim Sword

This fine reproduction is a jian, a Chinese sword design that is roughly 2,500 years old. Measuring 37 1/4" overall, this sword features a 1055 carbon steel blade that is 30" long and 1 1/4" wide. The very sharp double edges of the blade and the strong point give this weapon cutting, slashing, and stabbing capability. The traditionally styled guard and pommel are cast out of thick sturdy brass and fit snugly on a stout rosewood handle that is both highly decorative and functional. This sword includes an excellent wood scabbard and can be worn suspended from the belt or slung over the shoulder.
