This German Police Dress Bayonet is modeled after actual German militaria. This bayonet wasn't intended to be used on a gun, but worn as a side-weapon by the German Schutzstaffel (SS) police who acted more as a paramilitary group. The bronze plated eagle's head pommel is an extension of the knife frame that overlooks an imitation stag handle with a German police insignia. The 11 1/2" false-edged blade features a heavy blood-grove and a bayonet point that slides easily into the matching belt scabbard.
