The blade also has a half-serrated bottom edge for specific tasks. The cord wrapped handle provides superior grip. This excellent knife comes with a reinforced matching green nylon sheath with a belt loop and strong velcro to secure the knife with. The sheath will hold up well in bad weather. It has a lanyard on the sheath as well.
