This sword is called, "The Blind Swordsman Zatoichi". It is full tang and a fully functional forged high carbon steel.

This sword comes in a wooden storage box for displaying. The saya (scabbard) is constructed of wood, painted red with black around the meeting of the saya and tsuka, and then lacquered. This blade is razor sharp!!! There is a brass seppa holding the blade in place.

This sword is more accurate to the one seen on Kintano''s movie "Zatoichi" (2003) than other replicas being sold on the Internet, and has a nice blade, but I found it a bit bigger and heavier than expected. Anyway it''s great value for the money.
