Traditional Hand Forge Muku-kitae method, using high carbon 1045 steel with water temper process. The hamon and hardness (55 HRC) were created in the temper process. Real ray skin wrapped grip and black cotton cord wrap. The tsuba is made from copper with gold plate engraving.
The fuchi and kashira are brass. The scabbard is made of wood. It is high quality piano paint finishes.
This sword comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, authenticating everything we've stated in this description. The Certificate of Authenticity is stamped by the producer of the sword. This sword comes inside a wooden box, lined in Styrofoam with cloth over it. We also send you a free cloth sword bag.
