The Ryumon Double Edged Dragon Katana has a hand forged and folded 1060 carbon steel blade. This is a very sharp blade! There is a etched into the blade Dragon - which makes this design even more elegant. This is a double edged blade, which means it is sharpened on both edges. The guard is an ionized metal sunburst design.
The handle utilizes a one piece brass construction habaki (blade collar) to ensure proper fitting of the blade into the saya (scabbard). In addition, authentic ray skin (same) is used to wrap the tsuka (handle) and then tied with a leather tsuk-aito.
