Defend Greece, or just your livingroom. This Spartan Sword is a extremely accurate rendition period piece. These swords served as the short range weapon of choice among King Leonidas' Spartan warriors. The blade is 420 stainless steel and sharpened. The handle is wrapped in leather wrap giving this sword a savage, utilitarian look. The overall length is 25 inches. The handle length is 7 inches. This is a full tang blade. Comes with a nylon sheath for protection or storage. These swords are lightweight and ready to wield. They are a little over 2 pounds a piece steel, lightweight for easy weilding.

The free nylon sheath is more for a protective cover when not displaying. This is a free gift to you. We recommend that you have a leather sheath made if you want to carry it around with you, like at a Halloween or Cosplay event so that the tip does not poke through. This is a very sharp sword.

GENTLEMEN , I HAVE JUST RECEIVED MY
  AN ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL FALCATA, THE BEST, MOST ATTRACTIVE, HISTORICALLY ACCURATE REPLICA OF THIS WEAPON I HAVE EVER SEEN. THE PRICE WAS ALSO TERRIFIC, EXTREMELY REASONABLE! ONE CAVEAT; THE NYLON SHEATH PROVIDED IS NO MATCH FOR THIS WELL SHARPENED BLADE. MY SWORD HAD GONE COMPLETELY THRU THE BOTTOM OF THE SHEATH DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE PIECE WAS EXTREMELY WELL PACKED. HOWEVER ITS AN A+ FOR A TERRIFIC SWORD , ALREADY 1 OF THE FAVORITES IN MY COLLECTION, WELL DONE ,THANKS !
