Defend Greece, or just your living room. These Spartan Shields are extremely accurate rendition period pieces. These shields served as the short range protection of choice among King Leonidas' Spartan warriors.

The shield is 12 pounds and intricately detailed to look exactly like the shield in the movie. The front is constructed of poly resin and the back metal and is 25 inches in diameter. Look at the details on this shield, it's designed to look as if it just came back from battle.

This ships by itself, unless it is ordered with the regular spartan sword, then it ships with that sword. If this shield is ordered with the functional Spartan sword, then it will ship by itself.

Great shield overall, but I was very disappointed with the velcro straps and hooks meant to attach the shield to the upper forearm. The hooks were way too small and kept falling off the shield, so I had to improvise with some thin rope. Otherwise, great product.

This shield is awesome!
This shield was perfect for my halloween costume. It is a little heavy but not too heavy weighing somewhere around 9 or 10 lbs. I can highly reccomend purchasing this item you won't be disappointed and the price is right.
