Shikoro Ken, also called "saw sword" has ridges like those of a saw and can be used in different ways. In combat they can become deadly and shed the skin of the target. It also works like a saw when cutting, making it easier to make an entry.

Overall Length In Scabbard: 40 Inches
Handle To Tsuba: 11 Inches
Blade Length To Tsuba: 27 1/4 Inches
Sword Length Without Scabbard: 38 1/4 Inches



This Shikoro Ken is a unique sword that is hard to find. The blade in 440 stainless steel and the "saw" part is sharpened. The scabbard has a plastic inside, as opposed to the traditional wood. If it was wood, the saw of the blade would constantly saw away at it. The plastic is more sturdy and you will not have that problem. The outside of the scabbard is painted with black and high gloss finish. The handle has a leather wrapping. The tsuba is metal.

Awesome sword!
Excellent sword, unique design, sword is only half tang which is slightly disappointing, but quite a steal for the price!!
