The Sword of Morpheus Katana has hand forged 1065 carbon steel blade. The fully functional blade has a full tang, double pegged tsuka wrapped in authentic ray skin and finished with brown suede ito. The wooden saya is finished in a matte black lacquer and tied with brown suede sageo. The habaki is made from a single piece of brass with an antiqued finish.

  The sword alone makes an excellent display piece, and it's also very well made.(Everything in the description is very accurate to what you get) What impressed me even more than the sword was the excellent customer service i experienced.   This sword was excellent for decoration and such, but still is good and I strongly recommend you to buy it for decoration / training.

sword swinger
  i bought this sword after buying a "bill" from this site. great looking sword but i wouldn''t recommend it for heavy cutting. after disassembling the sword, i found that the full tang is one of those that has been made thinner for the asthetics of the handle--could be a breaking point. the musashi blades are superior to this one in my opinion.

The Matrix has you.
  Extremely pleased with this sword. It is longer than most trad. katana. The ito & sageo is more like a soft leather than suede. The weight & balance is also excellent despite its size. I recommend this sword to anyone who is a fan of The Matrix or samurai swords
