For centuries, the Japanese katana came to function not only as a warrior weapon but as a symbol of the Bushi, the Japanese warrior class known as the Samurai. In the mid-price range, the Bushi Modern Forge-Folded swords are ideal for those who admire and appreciate traditional Japanese ethics. Our Bushi class unites meticulous craftsmanship with modern metallurgical techniques to create blades that clearly exhibit the traditional Hada and Hamon. The tri-steel blades (1095/1085/1060) are forge-folded eight to ten times, hand-forged to shape, clay-tempered and machine-polished to a brilliant finish. It is this reflection of a long-established authentic process that gains these weapons an appreciation from sword enthusiasts at all levels.

This particular sword is called, "The Soul Of The Samurai Musashi". It is a fully functional forged high carbon steel blade. The Carbon has been hammered out through the blade so that it has a universal hardness throughout the entire blade. A Bo-Hi has been added to the top of the blade to even out the weight and give audible feedback. The sword comes full tang with an O-Kissake.

The saya (scabbard) is pure snow white (or black, or red, please choose) with 6 black sageo knots around the kurikata (knob on scabbard).

The tskua (handle) is made of imitation rayskin and cloth in a Tsumami Maki wrapping style. The overall length is 40 1/2 inches. Outside the saya, the tskua and blade are 39 inches in length. The blade length by itself is 28.5 inches.
